Why are some candidates so popular despite being so controversial ?
While others who are more practical and hardworking do not receive much support.
Human emotions play a huge role.

Well, it is simply because some movies focus on the appropriate emotions or correct balance of emotions (eg anger, sadness, money related issues, love, happiness etc) that people can identify with in life. Movie goers feel connected. Of course, the actors/actresses need to have charisma too. All these leading to box office hits.
